Superbug racing Kyalami results 29 Sep 2012

We had a real good weekend at Kyalami. The car felt real strong and the new tyres did their job.

Qualifying

Qualified 2nd in Class

Race 1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5RYth_uk8g&feature=youtu.be
Finished 2nd in class

Race 2
www.zatiming.co.za/index.php/54162/?OrgID=54162&mylaps=type,run,runid,2490305
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekHM0InIm8o&feature=youtu.be
Finished 3rd in class, 2nd overall in class. 2:04 laptime

The only hassle I had was a stuffed needle/seat. As it would be the car was perfect in race 1 and started acting up just before race 2... so I had no time to fix it. This meant that I had to drive the car with the fuel pump on/off. :) . Every corner switch pump off at the braking marker and then on again at full throttle.

Thanks, it was pretty close. Most of the cars around me was not in my class, so there was no need for taking chances.

I opened the carb yesterday night... the problem was not the needle/seat itself, but the float.... it somehow cannot be called a float anymore, it sinks. :) At least I managed to race and finish
