The fact you can open your doors and see all the walls tells me you have heaps of room left.

When I left my shed I had to climb out the window of the hilux and crawl over the roof to get out of the shed.

I guess DazCat can support this since he had to get into get it out :D:D

I have asked him to do something about it. We need more storage room in the garage so I can clean out the spare room for the new baby to come home to in 7 weeks.

I saw a perfectly good bookshelf with nothing in it or ON it.... I have a one car shed with no hanging space on the walls plus a large carport with things everywhere, plus a large garden shed FULL of Car stuff and a small garden shed that at least I Can walk into.... and the worst part is- I can't remember what is under all the stuff on top !!!
Plus I have new stored all over the house... where it can't be seen by the Finance Minister....
The worst part is I can't remember what is on the bottom of the Big piles in the sheds... Sometimes I buy something to find a month later that I already had bought one a few years ago.....
It has taken Me 2 months to find My Alternator which I am fitting to My 68AutoBug.....

That's because it is being painted for the baby's room. I can't leave it in there for too long or it will end up with something on it and it won't ever make it into the baby's room.

you should try doing it under a raised house with only room to park 3 cars!
I had stuff everywhere
I had to build a carport so my wife's car could be undercover
I gave so much away a few months ago because we were moving and sold all my projects
now I have 2 beetles again much to my wife's disgust but how can you say no when theyre so cheap

i don't see what some of you guys are wingeing about... my shed (which is too crazy for me to consider photographing) is a 9 by 9" garden shed (with LOTS of spiders)....
ok visualize a 9 by 9 shed. then add 3 complete 36 hp motors, 2 complete sa gearboxes, 6 stripped or partially stripped (short block) motors with most of thier remaining bits packed into about 5 or 6 milkcrates and several storage tubs, a storage tub of sorted nuts, bolts and washers, a number of drum brake assemblies, a box of carbies, nearly a box of dizzy's, 3 starter motors, 5-6-7? generators, a crate of generator stands, a box of small tinware, 5 or 6 fan shrouds, some trailing arms, some torsion bars, some swaybars, etc.
remember this is a 9 by 9 shed and all the boxes i'm talking about are foam or medium to large fruit boxes.
now add three crates of headlights, one big and one small box of tail lights spotties and blinkers etc, the odd iceceram container of switched and alike, a box of wiper mechinisms, a box of dash bits and chrome, a big pineapple juice tin with exterior trim standing in it, god knows how many dented hubcaps (why i keep them???), a bag with 4 or 5 pedal assemblies, plus prob another box or 3 i've forgotten.
hanging arount the edges, add 9 early manifolds, several sets of TP end pieces, 6 or 7 steering wheels, half a dozen or so gearsticks, a dozen beauty rims, a loop of cover plates, 2 loops of body mount plates, a coathanger of cables, a bumper, decklid handles, springs, mount brackets, a 36hp exhaust, etc etc.
ok a 9 by 9 " shed.
now add 8 beetle rear guards, 7 beetle front guards, 2 or 3 more bumbers, 6 early and one 1500 engine lid, 9 deetle doors, 3 complete beetle back seats, a T3 front guard, a T3 square rear hatch, some front seat bottoms the odd interior trim bit (most kept inside away from the crusty stuff), several rims, 2 early fuel tanks, etc. oh and 2 front beams plus bits off 2 more.
in a 9" by 9" shed.

this is why i call it the shed'o'death

plus i have to find the space v.soon to fit another 2 sa gearboxes, another complete motor, another front end, 2 engine cases, a gearbox case, several more sets of rims, a complete interior and an extra pair of front seats (if i can't get rid of them first) plus several boxes of bits....

i think i need a bigger shed. :D

Messy Shed?

I think this photo speaks for itself.

When I was a boy we were happy with our messy sheds,

Neigh,

we were happy BECAUSE we had messy sheds,

You had it easy,......

when I was a boy we had to go next door and pay money to be able to mess up their shed.

Luxury,

We had to walk 20 miles, in the snow, with no shoes, with our mess on our backs till we found an abandoned shed to mess up.

well when I say shed,

It was more of a teachest,
that we kept at the bottom of a dam and shared with two families from across the way, that was OUR shed.

Tell that to the Dubbers of today,
And they just wont belive you!!!!!

That shouldnt be a problem, "what now"

Your shed is obviously Dimensionally Transindental like Dr Whos Tardis,
Its Dr What Nows Tardis.

Given that, you should be able to put 10 times that amount inside and then walk in yourself and travel back in time to collect rare parts to sell at swapmeets.:D
