steel rims 14' with drop spindles

Hi guys, on my 59 bug I have wide 14 inch rims, they were brought as blanks and vw centres were welded in.
I would like to buy some professionally made, just want steel rims 5 stud pattern but 14s. That I can put my hubcaps back on.
Does anyone know who sells these type of things.
Any help appreciated.

Just an update that may help others , I have read that people have had trouble with tyres rubbing when installing drop spindles even with standard bug tyres,
I have wide tracked 14 inch rims and after putting in drop spindles they only scrapped on the top of the tyre, they were previously right at the edge of the guard. (For those that don't know drop spindles widen your track by 1/4 to 1/2 an inch each side) I then got the combi rims off Craig and they are fine. I'm using 195 65's . The 14' s give you that bit extra room. And the standard combi rim is tracked in enough to stop the scrubbing.
Only problem is you have to know what real speed you are doing in relation to your spedo.

A 195/65R14 should be pretty close to the rolling diameter of the original tyres, so your speedo won't be that far out. A '59 Beetle would have been on 5.6x15" cross-plies. From what I can work out on the internet, they would have been close enough to a 155/80R15. If you put that into an online calculator, as far as I can work out you should have only lost 20mm in overall diameter, which will make your speedo read 3% high.

I used http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php

Actually, I just looked up some cross-ply dimensions on Coker Tire's website, and the 5.6x15" is actually a bit taller than that, so your speedo will be about 8% out. Still nothing to lose sleep over.

Personally I run 195/70R14, and I used to run 195/75R14 because I like a bit of sidewall. I just changed down to the 70 series to get a decent tyre with a bit more grip. Not many performance tyres available in 75-series for a 14" rim anymore!

Waveman, thanks for ya info, i put up the originals next to the 14's and they are what you described, roughly an inch higher than the 14's. Atleast i wont get done for speeding,

Paul
