You would have to play a tape of your Beetle's engine noise jsut so that you would feel right when driving it. What an interesting thing to do.

MMMM yes the guy from down the street has owned it for years, just upgraded to a TDI mk5 golf, so the type 3 is going. It was done in the 80's as
my father remembers it happening. Hes pretty sure it runs a 20hp electric motor where the normal engine runs. from what he can remember it has a top
speed of 60 kmph but not sure.
the seller on the gold coast is not the original owner it was sold and taken away last week.
I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!

Yep, I was chasing it, spoke to the owner, he put me onto the guys who towed it, I called them, as true to form, they never called back. Arses.

Very Interesting....
I did see it.....
They would do better selling it to someone who can have a drive of it....
Too many unknowns at the moment...
Not a lot of info on ebay about it.........
Could take it to a VW show and charge $5 for people to drive around the oval in it.....
as You are NEVER going to be able to find another One to drive......
