Gone are the hi backs and now have some lovely( thanks Dave at the shootout) low backs in light grey and white piping.

Rear seat comes out this w'end and goes off to the trimmers along with the front door cards and a full new carpet set in salt and pepper grey goes in over the next few days. $400 landed for a complete set from the US , not bad eh? I was going to leave the interior til next year but it's scruffy and spoiling the car so best done now .

Leaves me with the remaining black interior and headlining to sort. Will probably stick with the white headlining and refresh the original as it's in great condition apart from a few stains . I'll do the rear panels and tailgate trim in a grey the same as seats and door cards. Picked up some stuff to do that today.

Others jobs to keep me busy is swapping the gearbox over , banging on a Pertronix II electronic ignition , 009 and coil etc and hopefully a set of 40's that may be coming my way. Should help her run along even better. No plans for anything bigger , unless.........

Oh and finally the exhaust. I'm having the end cut off and some of the deadening removed. Too quiet and i'd like a bigger dump pipe with cleaner welds.

Sorry to let you down Pete but the sus will be obtained soon but wont be seen on the car til next year. Thats my winter project!

:P Dan

I have thought about it but to be honest i'll have a project waiting for me anyway. I still own a manx buggy thats sitting in a shed waiting for me! The buggy is set up for drag racing so i'll continue with that i think and no doudt get myself a bug as a daily driver. See what happens but the hassle of exporting a car right now i don't really need. The square will make someone very happy i hope! Also i need the funds to get back home so it has to go i'm afraid.

Sad times

Dan:(

Mate... get a one way ticket

Dan can meet you at the air port - drop him off on the way home a drive home.

I have seen and cruised with this car. The Entrance Cruise day was 200kms so Dan prolly did 250 that day - no worries. Melb is only what 800 kms away??
You will NOT come close to buying a car like this again.

Take the extras off this car and Dan is selling a square with 12 months rego for just over 2k.

BARGAIN!
