Perfect fit with only minor adjustments.:smirk:

Just getting the engine hatch louvered. Then a full custom exhaust and an ECU.
Expected to be on the road by July.

The bottom of the sump is only about an inch lower than the original 2ltr sat.

Unique Fabrication has done all the body work so far and will do all the rest.

rocknrob:
Fuel tank isnt any interference. Just removed the malamine fire wall. Im told from a reliable source that it can stil be engineered without the malamine fire wall.

urban_myth:
I believe the engine is from a Crown. Not that it really matters between the each car. Main difference between a Lexus Celsior or Soarer, Toyota Crown and what ever year it is, is the placement of the sump and later models have the sequential injection and or vvti, and a maximum variation of 5-10kw.
Like youd notice a 5kw difference in a kombi. hehe

555bug:
My dream is to acheive an everyday drivable and reliable 13 sec Quart.
The plans for Eaton forced induction are being put together in my mind. The key is to keep it looking stock as possible.

Just have to sort out the radiator fill up tank and the airbox.
The engine is all set and ready for the Autronic SM4 to be installed.
2.25" Stainless system installed two months ago.
Have a set of phone dials at home to be resprayed.

New water pump, bearings, cam belt, distributor caps and rotors arrived too.
Tommorrow i will find out when they can take the Bus in for the ECU install and finishing touches.

Not getting an Autronic.
Have decided on a notec M48 CLubman.
The bus is getting towed on monday to the Jaustech workshop to begin the job.
They have a big job ahead:
Sorting all the electric and converting wiring to Fuel Injection.
Fitting the Radiator filler bottle, resealing the sump, fitting the air intake.
Fitting new water pump, serpentine belt and bearings.
