gearbox/engine mounts in offroad competition buggies?

I'm interested to see some pics of how people mount their engines and gearboxes in offroad cars.

Do you solid mount them?
Where do you support the front of the tranny (kombi boxes)? Do you use a Berg style front mount? Do you have 3 supports? nosecone, belhousing and engine? or just nosecone and engine?

I'll have a dig at ya Terry.....were'd ya race it last?

As for the Offroad race buggies I've seen that are running Kombi boxes, yes they are solid mounted, and yes with 3 mounts.

I like that design, it dosen't use the engine mounting bolts to secure it.How much are you asking for those? You need to put them on your web site.

That's the kit I've seen before in race cars. I had a mate that tried to copy it and make his own, took him forever and it was never right. Buying one that's laser cut and welded together seems like a much better option :)

I would love to have time to do this...Sneak-e is doing my web site and I need to do his car first.....lol
If you want info on these call me.. its that easy ;)

and its for Baja's and buggies I do have a race frame type one as well though.

Some nice work on display here, but if you are just looking for a kit to retain Beetle box in a standard chassis for, say, under 120hp at the wheels, I have a 'two-strap' one here... is it worth $50?
Collect from Hornsby
I'll try an get a pic later

I got it from http://www.shoptalkforums.com/index.php  Mick H posted the site previously. I can't find the exact link(it's a seperate site from inside one of the posts).
From what I can gather these mounts are made by http://www.mckenzies.com/  (I think moose imports them, Not sure) site is a pain as it dosn't show any pictures.

Yes I do import them, and yes they are the same ones as McKenzies sell as we buy them from the same place.
