[FS - SA] T3 EJ20t auto 7 seater *with more pics* *re-listed* and reduced price and ebay link.

hey all,
Selling my Suby powered T3.
it's an 86 model and has an EJ20t in it.
It sits on 17" Passat rims and has been dropped 70mm.
It has a cd/mp3 player, remote central locking, air conditioning, caravelle spec seats for all passengers.
It's located in Adelaide.
I want $7000 for it.
I can be contacted via u2u or call 0403374533.
:thumb

will take $6k or will reduce price with standard steelies or smaller alloy rims

yeah, don't mind the old heart transplant Squiz.
don't know what would squeeze into a T4
it's a 2.0 litre turbo from a subaru liberty RS, about a 99/00 model.
odometer says the car has done 176ooo k's.
unsure as to age of engine.
tyres are about 2000 km old. I put them on when I changed the wheels.
brakes were done just before xmas.

I reckon that'd be great fun as a soccer-mum mobile!!

Just for interest, due to intake path, I think engine is earlier than 99/00. How have you intercooled it?

sure is. especially cos it leaves all other family trucksters for dead.

the intercooler sits above the auto trans.

will get some more pics up soon.
there's a few bubbles under the front windscreen. nothing drastic, and a bit of surface orange behind the top of the tailgate on the inside. (only visible with the tailgate open.
interior is real nice. a few wear marks on some spots.
it's an auto.

Nice bus hope you dont mind a few questions,
what are the fuel figures like?
How does it compare for power and drivability to a 2.1 wasser?
Do the rims clear everything and how the gearing with the rolling diameter (?) of those tyres what revs etc at 110 klms? is the rolling diameter larger or smaller as this will effect the gearing and consumption.
How well does the cooling work above the box?
Thanks Mitchell

the only economy test I've done (if you could call it that) was a 100km round trip which included 75 km of city driving, 20 km of freeway, and 5 km of showing off to my Brother. For that 100km it used 14 litres of fuel.
Power wise, it sh*ts in a 2.1 water boxer. The turbo makes a big difference.
Drive it off boost, and it drives like normal. Sink the slipper, and it takes off.
There are no clearance issues with the rims.
The rolling diameter is slightly larger. I don't have a tacho fitted, so I couldn't tell you the revs, but taller tyres cut down the rpm.
The radiator is still in the factory location at the front of the car. The intercooler is above the g'box. It probably works better there than in the engine bay of the suby, as it would be a lot cooler location.
I have thought of moving it all the way to the front of the car though.

Dont move the intercooler!!! The shorter those pipes the better, you will loose throttle response, turbo spool, use more petrol...lag, lag and more lag. I should ask if its air or water to air..as it its water, then your talking about the radiator for the cooler, which is fine up front as long as you have at least the subaru external water pump. Get an air intake temp sensor of a vn commodore for $24 and see how effective the cooler is. Mine works a treat in stock position.

If I pull my finger out, and sell some of the crap and cars, and its not gone then I would love it. We shall see.

Good Luck...

just put $1000 of stereo gear in it too, and carat tail light surrounds and clear front turn signal lenses.

need to get a "family" car.
will be selling the wife's Golf 4 also.

on the lookout for a post '98 Passat Variant or A4 Avant.
