For Sale - 64 1500 Deluxe Beetle

For Sale - 64 1500 Deluxe Beetle.

My son Sam is selling his daily driver 1500 Beetle. Its a good solid VW that runs very sweetly. The body is solid but does have a few dints in the roof and bonnet, plus a little bit of surface rust here and there. No cancer, floor pan is excellent. Sits real nice as its been lowered all round.
1500 SP motor runs strong. Leaks a little oil. Gearbox excellent. Brakes all good. Its a daily driver so no real faults. Converted to 12 volts and running an Alternator.
Interior is fair. Oxblood red seats and panels. Headliner scruffy. Has a full set of Rubber fllor mats.
Rego'd till Nov 07. Selling with out RWC.

Comes with some nice bits.
- Mesh Sun Visor
- Rear window venetion
- VDO Oil Temp & Fuel Gauge set
- VW Branded PB radio (6v)
- Fully adjustable front beam with Avis Adjusters
- Genie Extractor Exhaust with Tuck away muffler.
- Mesh covered spotties x 2
- 356 Replica Chrome Wheels. With excellent tyres.
- 4.5 in on the front
- 5.5in on the back.
Engine Seals have all been replaced, as well as brand new rear boot seals. does not leak oil.
Found out after removing the engine that it has a 1500 Bus motor.

Looking For 2500

Located in Melbourne.
Contact Sam on 0422 777 923
Or U2U on here.

Mainly it would need raising back up to pass the Vic RWC.
Its very low. (Slammed)
King and Link pins are a little loose, but re-greasing and adjustment might tighten them up ok.

Ash just fly to Melb and drive to Qld taking it easy.
As what most people forget about any car is that you would probobly drive that distance every fortnight anyway so no biggy and the price is pretty good for the condition and all the extra's you get with it.
