[FS - SA] [SOLD]Very Nice Late Squareback with extras

SOLDSOLD

1972 Squareback. 4 Speed Manual, 1600 Twin Port

150000 Genuine Miles with Books and some History

$3500 and planning to take to the Adelaide Day of the Volkswagen on the 25th.

Has Bling...

- 15" x 4.5" Restored Empi Lemerwitz Steel Sprint Stars
- 2 x 145 & 2 x 165 Michelin XZX tyres with 50% even tread
- 4 New Pedders shockers installed 10000ks ago
- Extractors & Recent Hot Dog Exhaust
- Spotties (Not Connected as for wank factor only)
- Lowered sensibly (can turn full lock with no noises/scaping etc even when towing a heavy load)
- Empi Antenna Ball :P
- Functional Towbar
- Brand new $150 Lambwool Covers to prevent sweaty nether regions when it's hot

I spent a lot of time chasing nice chrome trim, Aerials, trim bits etc etc and generally sorting her into a reliable and sexy daily driver

Hood Lining is almost mint. Dash has a few cracks but bugger all really. Speaker cover in dash is rooted, but will supply new owner with a mint one (see photos)

Rear cargo area is in good nick, body is excellent, has minor rust bubbles in passenger lower guard and very minor bubbling along panel seam under rear window area otherwise she's a very solid unit indeed.

Mechanically its sweet and sorted. Engine looks sexy as I took it out and detailed it ( some would call me Anal Retentive). Mega reliable - I drive it from Burnside to Marion each day and get better than 10L per 100k's.

Negatives - Motor leaks oil (dont they all), Passenger Window Regulator rooted, Clock doesn't work, Has fan blower option but doesn't work. Rego expires 28/2.

Registration ROM-094 (have ordered new plates as the current ones are faded.

Looking for SA only buyers at this stage. Please only contact me if your a genuine potential purchasor :thumb

Optional Extras for buyer
(ie won't sell these bits separately til I have sold the car)

- Set of 4 Empi 8 15x5.5 - $450 ** SOLD
- Set of 4 Globe Bathurst 14x6 with totally rooted tyres and need a clean & polish (I polished one and came up sweet) $150
- 3 165x75xR15 Michelins with heaps of tread $220
- Factory type 3 Console (centre guage extra) $ 300
- VDO 72/73 factory tach $120
- Type 3 Panel van guage blank $60
- VDO aftermarked tach - taken out of a kombi dash $50

Just wondering where you got those headlight protectors (The mesh ones) I have always liked these and might try looking for a set
