Bug speedo/fuel gauge/idiot light wires.
ANybody able to take a pic or gimme a diagram of where the bunch of wires go behind the speedo of an L beetle?
I just got my speedo off joel the other day but upon going to pu i in I found a biger salad of wires than I bargained on and I'm buggered if I know
what to do with them.

damn i wrote them all down for u on a piece of paper and forgot to send it
easy
starting from top
fuel gauge vibrator (square box thing) black
other fuel guage connector is yellow marked G i think
2 illumination lights are grey with red trace
hi beam is blue with white trace
charge light Blue
turn signal blue/red trace
and oil is green/red trace
and the tabs at the very bottom which power the idiot lights is a green and a black wire splice toghether

great pics there if yr not sure aboutt he oild or alt wires
turn the ignition on and ground the il wire in the engine bay then the light will come on the speedo and you will know if you have the correct one
