manx insurance
Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can anyone please tell me who will insure my manx?
i have asked my general insurer but they didnt know what a manx is.

Shannons , and they will know exactley what you are talking about.
You will also need to have an imobiliser fitted to keep them happy in regards to theft , which with my old car they were happy enough with a hidden
kill switch

thanks, i have a kill switch so that covered. do you have to have comprihensive cover or do they have 3rd party coverage?

I may be wrong but i believe they only have comprehensive which will more than pay for itself in the event of a disaster with the rising values of
manx's

thanks, down here in the lower south east of south australia you get some funny looks when you try and explain what it is!!! And even the rego papers
don't help cause it is listed as a 1959 vw tourer they don't even have any vw listed before 1970 something

Shannons do both Comprehensive and 3rd party. My 3rd party is about $150 yr. I did have comprehensive on my last buggy which was $550yr.

My Iguana is insured with them for $45 000 and it costs under $600 a year ($32.50 a mth - $390 p/yr)

HELP,
what is a manx in used (average) condition worth? need to put a price on it for insurance.
it has a 1500cc sp motor, it has a verification plate.
