MY NEW 2008 TDI BEETLE!
Just wanted to share with you all some pics of my new baby!!! I
picked her up at approx 10:30am this morning and have been cruising all day! I caught up with Jess, Jace & Chris for lunch and we all took lots of

the wait!! Here's more info about my NB...
She's a brand new 2008 Silver Volkswagen Beetle TDI Model with a Sunroof, Rust/Paint protection, Tinting, Genuine VW floor mats and with personalised
number plates I'm sure it won't take long for me to bling this baby
up!!!
Piccy's below, enjoy!

Thanx h! It sure was worth it I reakon I could see you in a convertable,
wind in your hair cruising at the coast hehe. When I fully open the sunroof it's a bit like that for me and the passengers in the car. Will be nice
when it's spring/summer though (tad cold atm).
And squizy, I have alot of plans going around in my head atm, first I just want to get some nice wheels for it & lower it a bit. And I would like
to put a nice stereo in it, maybe with some doof doof Not to sure what
else as of yet but im sure I'll keep you guys updated. And yes, I was suprised those number plates where still available, I've had them for a while
now! But I'm so glad I decided to get them.
Thanx for your comment Marc, might see you cruising around if I'm down your way at all
OH, btw I've beeped at 2 old beetles so far and none of them recipricated!!

Congratulations on your new purchase. Our 2004 is in for its 150,000 service today and they have given me a bright yellow tdi for a loan car. They
go pretty well with all that torque. You will love it I'm sure.

nice wheels
I hope you look after this one better then the ford explorer hehehehe
the service cost on a new beetle are a killer its about $66 just for the oil , so dont let this little car end up like your Ford:l make sure Joh gets all his services

Thanx Yogie, I am yet to see if she goes, I've been told they go really well with the amount of torque in them but for the moment I'm just running
my baby in and probably will be for a few months. Hey Ian, I've heard the NB services are expensive but I believe there's no point buying an
expensive car if someone isn't going to maintain it which I intend to do...ford explorer? I've never owned a Ford explorer, what are you talking
about!? lol

Very nice I've got 2 TDi Beetles - a 1998 and a 2008! Love them
both to bits. Both feel very different to drive tho, despite being the 'same' car.... well the 98 is LHD which makes it different, but there's more
than that - it's a different 'feel' to each car.
I'm teaching people to drive in the 2008 one

depends upon where you go... dealerships can be quite expensive with a minor service anywhere around $300-400. (for the petrol models - not sure of
costing for diesels)
there is a website that has suggestive prices for servicing.

Hey M165, I love mine to bits as well & the first ones that came out were nice to. In about 2006 I had a 2002 miami model! I sit in the NB now
though and can instantly smell that new car smell...ahhh it's bliss.
Your funny Ian! I did actually have a ford laser (not explorer), but
it was a 1983 model and there were a few issues with the engine!! hehehe ... and definately no drag racing for my baby!!! I still have the laser I'll just be using it to drive to and from the train
station each day in.

Hi ya, congrats on the purchase. I've never even been in a new care let alone owned one. My newest car is the same age as me!
Anyway, as I often say the Watercooled VW forum is full of useful advice re servicing costs, aftermarket mods etc http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/
Best of luck.

CONGRATS!!!!!! Ur new bug is simply gorgeous ..... Don't even listen to what Blutopless says about waiting to accessorise ur bug he would have no
clue and is jealous because he doesn't own a NB. He likes to think he does, but unless his name is Tracey I don't think so .....
Try the classic vee dub website, they did have a prestige euro section which has all bits for the newbies. My cabrio has clear tailights and has been
lowered with chrome exhaust and 18 inch wheels. The chrome bits and pieces look hot, especially the door trims
