[FS - WA] 57 Oval On the market again
A blue 1957 oval Beetle is for sale in Wickepin in Western Australia.
The car is claimed to be in almost complete and original condition.
It has been garaged for the past few years and is claimed to be almost rust free.
Wickepin is 40km North East of Narrogin in WA and being in the middle of the wheat belt it has lived for most of its life in a very low rainfall and
dry climate.
I've had some photos emailed to me, but being a compleat idiot on a computer I've had trouble posting them here.
Call Peter on 0429 882 871. He may email you some pics.
He knows what he has and how desirable it is, so his price is $8,000 negotiable.
Recently a restored 57 oval was for sale in SA for $16,000.

IT'S BACK ON THE MARKET
Peter phoned me today, Friday 17 April to tell me that a firm sale fell through at the last minute.
The Oval is therefore still for sale.
If you called Peter earlier, please call him again. He has not kept the details of who called him, as he was so confident of that sale.
The price is still negotiable in the $7,000 area.
He will also consider a part trade of a good running, registered Beetle like a Super Bug or similar.
Call him only for pictures. The pics he sent me have gone weird in my email system and I can't post them here.

I hear it's sold. Was a project from what I'm told.
I don't know where everyone is getting these inflated prices for ovals from. 8-10K would seem top dollar to me for a rego'd runner. But that is just
my opinion and they're worth what someone wants to pay.
