Pictures of todays entertainment
Smiley came down to my neck of the woods today to go play in the mud as i am selling mine and we keep saying we should... well now we have and how
entertaining it was
first smiley STUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha had to be towed of by myself
on the way out we found a fantasic mudbog that has provided some stunning shots of smileys car in action..
so impressed i got smiley to take my camar( now he wasn't to keen as it was one of my wifes and she's a photographer and well hes scared of her!!!)
anyhows of i went but as my cars quite a bit higer the affect was ...well u be the judge
then we went in serch of some deep sticky mud to see if we could get boged down... i went first but i dont have any pictures (smiley has heaps but i
am guessing he is still driving home) i managed to get well and truly dug in but after much fun the old beast dug out!~!!!!!! next went smiley
oops a little to stuck there !!!!!!!!
but being a super BAJA it did mnage to dig out as well, go the mighty 1300!!!!!
the end result of both cars..........aircooled swinger with no body lift, subaru turbo with irs and 2 inch lift both made it out, both made it over
everything(apart from were smiley bottomed out as shown) Yes my car did it easier and with less bottoming out but still smiley really had not major
issues.
As i am sure he will show we went out on the mudflats and i sank and yes he had to snatch me out !!! i knew i would but i had to try. its so sticky
and deep the i have seen lifted 4wds sunk half up there doors!!!
both cars were a tad dirty and it took 45 mintues to wash mine down enough to take it home!!!!
i have some video footage i will try to get up soon '
smiley thank you for a most fun day and your right i will regret selling the old girl.

o forgot to say that both cars performs magic and didnt miss a beat untill yours truly was driving down a track through a heap of mub and water when
my car sliped the drivers side into a rut , i dont really know how high it came but halfway up the door was mentioned and the front guard/headlight
were totaly underwater!! and the dissy is on that side so she went under to, she still ran but coughed and fart a bit. I pulled it off when i got home
and sure enough it was muddy and wet, i wish we has some footage of it as smiley was right behind me and he saw me drop in and he managed to swerve of
the track so he didnt follow.
oh how much fun are offroad vws??

I'll see your 'Smiley hung up' and raise you one 'Steff in the Sludge'
Here are some shots in the really slippery stuff, mud flats. It gummed his mud tyres into slicks in a matter of seconds. Was no way that we were
getting through this.
Alyce to the rescue!!
She scrubs up real purdy like.
And remember kids, 4WD is for vehicles that are no good offroad to begin with, they need it to bring them up to the standard of real offroad cars!!
VWs rule!!
A massive thanks again to Steff for showing me around his area. I had an absolute ball mate!

BTW. You're not wrong here. I dislike being able to hold something in my hands that is worth alot more than my whole car!
