I dunno how you manage to drive that thing daily with your header so low and not destroy it or the sump.
Mines 2.5-3" higher than yours and I've already wrecked 2 mufflers in only 10,000kms and drag my sump regularly, and its a 3.5" shorter one

Love the vid dude. An congrats on your 6 year achievement.
Although not as fast as a converted beetle (or as cool many would argue - including my) I'd still rather my wrx as a daily driver over my VWRX or
aircooled efi beetle

I tried to get hold of a stock header to build mine from, you'd think there'd be hundreds sitting in sheds from all these boy racers that upgrade
but no luck.
ugh the rack.... 2 1/2years later its still sitting there waiting to go in.
I just need to borrow a nutsert gun to install the mounting nutserts and relocate my rad return line cos I managed to position it right where the uni
shaft for a rack goes.

Whats a LSD worth these days and best place to source?
I agree in raising height slightly, have the same issue and think as cool as it looks that 20mm will help with handling.

Plus the 2 million that was probably on it before it went into your car
or was it a rebuild?
The old out of sight out of mind thing.
Mr B would probably hang me from the clothes line by my nads if he knew I've never even checked the oil level in mine since it was rebuilt and put in
9 years ago
when it starts making noises I'll think about it

what sort of mileage does it give you?
is the gearbox in it a type 1 box with the stronger 3rd and 4th gears? -> what sort of rpm are you pulling at highway speeds? |
