Basically after a beetle that's either already track prepped or very close to... think a couple of weekends work to be able to run hillclimbs safely.
- Year not important - prefer BJ & IRS but would consider a Super or L.
- Needs to be a Type1 engine, but doesn't need to be engine - healthy 1600 or larger fine.
- Likewise healthy stock box
- Body should be solid and presentable, but doesn't have to be anything flash.
- Interior completely unimportant as it's going to be removed.
- Cage would be great if it's log-booked or meets current CAMS, otherwise prefer not.
Basically think someone who's been a VW dude for years (currently drives a sweet stocko 64 and a bay camper), and altho capable of building from a stocker just doesn't have the time. Noel's got a budget but its a good one for getting a solid starting point - he knows stuff and is realistic on values of things.
Obviously anything over the above that's benefit for hillclimb and sprints is a bonus.
