Heh - trick answer - barely used GoPro 2's are getting cheaper and cheaper, and to my mind better bang for buck than a new 3 !!!
I prefer the SD format that the GoPro 2 uses over the MicroSD of the 3... much less fragile and fiddly. Plus the GoPro 2 uses a standard 3.5mm mic plug not some dicky proprietary thing like on the 3.
If you're set on a GoPro 3 then go the Black... sure it comes with the WiFi remote, but the 60fps would be the main reason for me. No point spending more $$$ without it being better somewhere.
👍
Generally I'm not convinced on how solid the firmware is for the GoPro 3 just yet... my GoPro 2's work perfectly (I have three of 'em), while every GoPro 3 I've encountered has been a major PITA getting the Wifi connections reliable...
