Ok after Robjo's idea i think ill begin the post
Heres the deal you get to post one song which you think is the best cruzin song for your VW...... on sunday i will take them all and number them and let people vote in a seperate post what songs should be in the top 50, i can burn em to a cd or ill put them on my webpage to download
How does that sound?
lets post away......
Anything By Lenny Kravitz!😀
"I want to get awaayyy, I wanna Flyyy Awayiy, YEAH YEAY"
N!
Led Zep - Ramble On.
Best beat ever for a cruise
MAMBO No5 by Bob the Builder.
.
The B52s
Devils in my car?
Especially on a deserted road at night
The classics by Tom Petty are always good ... free falling etc...
Also a bit of ol' school Dean Martin - Dat's a Mora' *spell*
Sing it at the top of your lungs ... sweet man 🙂 Actually singing anything at the top of your lungs while driving the Volksy is always going to be a winner ... bring on summer, and beach cruising 🙂 ... the bikini clad woman are also very nice
:bounce ... sorry it's conjuring up too many good memories 😀😀

¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.-> Keepin' it Real !!
"think" Blues brothers version
'RESPECT"
personally I think every song should be one that u can sing along to in a kombi!!!
(oh and bounce and bop along to...the kids love that ...although we do get some looks when we have stopped at lights and the kombi is bouncing from everyone dancing on the inside!!)
:bounce:bounce:bounce:bounce:bounce
i would have to say The Butterfly Effect's 'Perception Twin'.
beautiful haunting lyrics, strong musically, but no-one will have heard of it, so maybe i should say Audioslave's 'Show me how to live'
Reimagined/Recycled/Upcycled Cool
Led Zepplin for sure,
Black Dog or Battle of Evermore
Charlotte Kevin and Brian
only one song.....this could be difficult....
deep purple-highway star
" " -smoke on the water
black sabbath-sweet leaf
in fact, just about anything by sabbath!!!
or maybe some nirvana, foo fighters, silverchair, led zep, pantera, cake,r.a.t.m., blind melon(good for a nice chilled cruise 😉 ), queens of the stone age, rancid, pearl jam etc. etc. etc. the list is endless.....
but as highway star is the first song in my list......i'll go with it as my choice 😎
kai
14 so far . . . . i might have to make it a top 20 lol keep posting guys
and
Decked Dubby . . . . ROCK ON!! :P
PAINT IT BLACK - By the rolling stones😀😀😀😀😀😀:thumb everybody download it and, tell me that there isnt a better crusing song
.....MIDNIGHT OIL-POWER AND THE PASSION!!!!!!!
[Edited on 9-10-2003 by robnjo]
Dire Straits: Money for Nothing!!!!!!!!!
Man all those songs are over in 3 minutes..... I will avoid the obvious entendres...
I am going to bring it on up to the last few years of cool, journey type proggy house/ambient/dance/chill whatever you want to call it and put Deep Dish Yoshiesque 🙂 🙂 up there as the cruise of a lifetime. Unfortunately I dont think there will be too many takers:P
:kiss
kkk😉
If you're hammering it, around some twisty bits "bodies" by "drowning pool", the remix from the xXx soundtrack tho.
If it's the long open road at night "under the milkyway" by "the church"
However cruising down chapel street to "temple of love" by "the sisters of mercy" was just smegging ubercool 😎
Also doing a midnight run to a recording studio in Ballarat in my old IRS/Balljoint early beetle listening to temple of love, more and this corrosion by the sisters was a cool experience too. 100MPH along the western ring road (long before those speed cameras) with a surprising amount of trucks on the road, tapping our feet away to Dr Avalanche :thumb

workin class man-barnesey!
!!!!!PAINT IT BLACK!!!!!! everybody will have heard this before😀 cawmon people download and listen😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Cam-dont really go to clubs much anymore how about yourself?
Naa, me either. Used to goto Abyss at the Paladin every week, but then it moved, other clubs came up with alot more *doof doof* orientation, kinda put me off it alot.
If I go anywhere it's normally DV8 now (yeah, love my metal 😀) Psychonaut very rarely, a mate of mine DJ's there and it's the only real regular club atm, so go there to catch up with people if anything. And Abyss for special occasions and old times sake 🙂
