does anyone know how to fix the interior ceiling of a microbus without repalacing it all. mine is in great condition except for 2 small tears.
Save water, drive an air cooled Volkswagen.
contact glue some clear plastic over the rip or tear
according to my upolstery book u are just recommended to put a small patch of originl material over the front of the rip, but i cant see any reason why u cant glue a small patch to the back (reaching through the hole to place the patch) to hold the rip closed.

Our bus had a rip in the headlining about 10 centimetres long, but otherwise perfect.
When I took the windows out to respray it, I got a Vinyl weld/ repair guy to fix it up.
He needed to be able to get to both sides, hence why I waited untill the side window was out.
You can see where it was if I showed it to you, but you wouldn't know otherwise. For $60 and four years later no signs of coming apart.
