carbon fibre running boards

hi all there has been expressions of interest in carbon fibre running boards. i am looking into making some up with one of my mates. however at this stage as i don't have a beetle we cannot make moulds for them and get an idea on price, i am wondering if anyone out there is wrecking a beetle or has some old ones lying around we could use this would be appreciated cheers, t3k

hey all i guess it is time for an update.
are they coming along?? yes
are they ready? no
i know we are slack but my mate who i do the cf with has been extremely busy. and last tim he left me alone to do a simple job, we ended up making new moulds...don't ask!
they should be ready soon
