so now I have to get a set of axles, then go from there!

When I moved here you could buy a house for $120.000, the same house would now cost you $250.000 and thats in 8 years. Most banks want 20% deposit nowdays, so you need about 25000 just for the deposit, the first home buyers grant of 7000 only realy covers stamp duty and other changeover fee's.

should I ask why Pyro??? I am going wide five on mine, but I am using type 3 drum rears and adpators (legal sort) on the front with normal disk brakes.

We have our house now. 20% of it anyway, so if the price of the house doubles in the next few years we will own 60% of it!

The garage will be nearly as big as the house. Stoopid house takes up just a little bit more than it's own half of the block. Why couldn't it share and leave room for a bigger garage 🙂

hello from beautiful langkawi where you can by a bootle of Jim beam for A$13.00 and Jack Daniels for A$17.00 and thats for litre bottles.
Have also taken a photo of a beetle with metalic paint and jelly bean mags here on the island...wasn't Sue pleased.
Hired a 4wd and toured around the island. 180 km we tarvelled and that was two times around with stop offs. Stopped at a beach to have a look and a monkey came out of the bush and started following me. Wasn't till I through my can of coke into the bin i realised what he was after. he picked the can of drink outa the bin and drank what was left.
Did I say a can of VB is only 70cents...lets just say I've had my monies worth...started drinking tiger but its a bit malty for me..tastes like Boags.
Well i'm off now to sit by the pool and drink beers and coctails...did I mention cocktails are only about A$5.00.

i think i got it worked out so far but im probably going to have to get the cbb wide five disk set up for the front to keep disk's on the front 👍

DOVW seems to have come up again so quickly.
Maybe we will have the Helbus there, Suby motor and all. Took it for a drive around the block on Saturday and Fleur was more than impressed wit the power. "Wicked" was a word she used. I now have to take most of the stuff out, except the motor and tidy it all up. Wrap wires etc

Overseas travel is always so much fun. At the end you don't want to leave, but when you get home you are glad to be home.
Must be that last flight home. Always a killer.
^^yeh it is really really good! i'm going to nz later this year for 2-3weeks with some of my mates from sydney..it'll be good to relax...
it's nice to get bakc home and sleep in your own bed again..(not that i havea habit of sleeping in other peoples heheheh)

Holiday was fabulous.
Singapore is the cleanest safest place I've been...except for salesman, especially tailors. Singaporeans are very efficient and eager but are pretty unfriendly. Their transportation system is super efficient and a pleasure to use.
Langkawi is a wonderfall place...so lush and green...becuase when it rains it rains. The people are so friendly and will do anything to be of assistance unlike the muslims who holiday their who are the most arrogant people who I have ever encountered and despise westeners.
Saw a lot in 10 days and we didn't sit still for a moment...except when I watched American Chopper on discovery or was sitting at the bar drinking cheap booze, but only after 7.00pm.
We brought back some neat souvenirs and 5 litres of alcohol. We were actually over our limit but we declared it and they let us through, no questions asked.
We left Lankawi 8.45 Sunday night, arrived in Singapore at 10.10 for a midnight flight from Singapore to arrive in Brissy at 9.30am Monday morning. Hence why I was knackered. Glad I took an extra day off work
So anyone who wants a cheap holiday I recommend Langkawi.
We booked everything to our room except for breakfast and accomodation, including an island hopping trip, 2 days 4WD hire all our meals and drinks and it cost us 801 ringgit or $299 Australian and that was 4 1/2 days.
So all in all a fantastic time....now back to work tomorrow and a reality check.

was pi**ed off that I dipped out on the XO job at Butterworth, that woul dhave been cool...... but I can understand the bit about the 'other ' tourists. Saw some last time I was up there for a visit to the Base. The 'other' tourists were arrogant pri*ks who I wouldn't help if they were on fire!
May have to head up there for some scuba diving if I don't buy a house by the end of the year. Am now looking at One Mile and Leichardt! Talk about being able to walk to work!!
