We have lost the last six days worth of data. Unfortunately, last Saturday's backup (the last one before the crash) was not healthy enough to use, so I've had to reload from prior to the upgrade.
Sorry for the lost posts, but please know that we will be changing our backup routine so that we are more in charge of the backups and not so reliant upon our hoster for this service.
Again, sorry for the inconvience.
Andrew
just glad to see it back!!
cheers

I was wondering if anyone could post! I knew the thing was "off for maintenance" but I fixed that and no one posted. 🙂

recycle, restore, enjoy
this would explain the subscriptions in my inbox that lead to nowhere. 😀
good to be back innit people :bounce
one interesting change is that my browser now opens a new page each time I click on a link to aussievedubbers, instead of opening it on the same page.... it's freaking me out to see forty buttons on the bottom of my screen labelled "Aussie..."
is this a beta issue or is it just me?:alien
let sleeping dubs lie
it doesn't seem to be doing that to me here....but maybe i'm just not clicking on enough links :P:P
Well done Andrew

😀 yay you fixed it .... thanx .... I have been missing the ability to post crap and humiliate myself in a public forum ( ADD is tough, had to go play outside.. eeeww bugs :P ).
Glad that it is all back. Being without it made me have to amuse myself in other ways, like fixing a jammed lock on the boot of my car!! Maybe i would get more things done without Aussieveedubbers!! hmmm nah! Love this place:bounce
<hr>"I choose to Cruze VW Golf Mk1 Style!!!"
Well done Andrew, and thanks 😀

Peter, could you show us a screen shot of what yours is doing please?
To everyone else, thanks 🙂 Brad and Jim also helped during this period, and Angus from our hoster restored us twice if I read the e-mails correctly.
Andrew
Wahoo
It's frustrating when it's down, BUT
I sure do appreciate the work all the boys (Andrew, Brad, Jim and others [sorry if I left anyone obvious out]) put in behind the scene.

andrew, it's not worth a screen shot, all that happens now is that when i get a couple of emails (subscribed thread response) and I open them one after another, it automatically opens a new window instead of overlaying the AVD page that I'm currently on. just means I have a lot of pages to close down when i finish up instead of one, and makes it confusing.
I'll live, unless it's a simple fix 😠
let sleeping dubs lie
Thanks Andrew 🙂
Just thought I would let you know that the image thumbnail thing isn't happening anymore.
My life can get back to normal now
Cheers
