Shiny bits and accessories a must.
Bling Bling.
Will Wolf get jealous?

Probably. But he will have to cope with it.

It seems that the later models still haven't had all their problems sorted out properly, so maybe an older one is best.... You realise you'll have to test drive ALL vehicles your interested in.... Could take hours (or minutes):thumb
"Tell him 'We've already got one'"
Be careful about test drives. I hear that sometimes "You try, you buy"
I'm a '68 model guy, well maintained (been working out daily) with service records (I keep my X-Rays in a folder at home!). I am mechanically sound and run well. I blow a bit of smoke, but still go hard.
I consider myself to be dependable (I ring home if I'm going to be late.) I've got no rust and clean paintwork. I could use a tidy-up, but the potential is there with a bit of TLC. The shiny accessories are all in as-new condition.
I'm definitely a single-seater but that seat is currently occupied by a loving owner.... You'd want to make a serious offer!!!
Ps. I don't think you need me to send a photo....
Kruizin Kol
Thankyou for the reply Kol, but definitely looking for presently unoccupied Drivers seat... or something. You know what I mean 🙂

Everymans fantasy, a dual control vehicle.
2 is company, 3 is a party and all that.

$2 whispers to jay, soas not to flick the looney switch to overdrive on amazer....
look at his avatar, he is holding a boomerang whilst obsessively playing with his gearstick....and he has a hairy back,, I think any passenger at all would be his fantasy (if he can drag himself away from the boomerang long enough!!!
$2 runnnnnnnsssss away now!!!!!!fasssstttt!!!!!!!
😉
it sounds like you are not in running order at the moment been sitting in the garage for a while, needs to be tinkered and tuned before starting engine, interior needs to be polished and scrubbed before hopping in ,paint work needs buffing before you see the real gleam hey , i have some thing like this in the shed myself

come on. as if you're gonna buy outright without the test ride and once over by the NRMA. sure, no need to go bare metal rust hunting, but at least open it up on the freeway for a couple hours ...
75 model, blows way too much smoke, goes hard when least expected and can slide out of corners and run into others. never garaged, poorly maintained, lots of character but still reliable.
(last seen at valla)
NO TYRE KICKERS.
y'know jay, this is fun. hehehehhe
:bounce
let sleeping dubs lie
Well, DER!
hehehehee
Peter, I don't think you fulfill the requirements - one of the major ones is no smoke!!
Sorry to disappoint.

Reminds me of an Ferguson Tractor I used to have on the farm.. Bit shabby.. good grunt in lower gears, small front wheels and oversize rear ones.. Pulled me out of a tight spot many a time..
Off topic but did anyone see the tv show (for farming country people) on ABC where they had a fergie show for the fergies 75th birthday? They had thousands of tractors. People brought them in by the truck load from all over australia and some from overseas. And they say us VW people are mad.

The TE 20 Fergie has got to be right up there with the most versatile, practical, popular mechanical marvel of all time.. We had a 49 Fergie (It was my Dad's) and I remember as we drove past the tractor shed in the morning on our way to school. Our Dad would say, without embarassment, "See ya tonight Fergie" He was in love with it..
And the say VW people are obsessed..
Why did Prince Edward get a new Tractor?????
Some one Fucked his Fergie
(sorry to hijack post.)
some people are like slinky's
they have no useful purpose
but they are fun to watch
when you push them down the stairs
someone is going to be pissed when she logs in.

Rob - time share doesn't seem to work well for some reason.
Chris - Do you think I need a reference? 🙂
