buying a baja advice!(PAID DEPOSIT)

tomorow i am going to look at a 67 baja i dont know a whole lot about the car but i am going to check it out and take it for a drive......apparently what it needs for safty cert is 2 king + link bushes for the front....an axel seal for the rear and a window winder on one of the doors....apparently it is pretty rust free and has a reco 1600 single port with all receipts from reco. any basic advice for me with buying a baja bug? you should email drew about that motorkhana on the 2nd of may - maybe you can compete - you dont neeed a licence, just a cams one (get the day pass thingo for 20 bucks)

and if the baja aint ready.....you gotta come along anyways to cheer me on as i nervously spew pee my way through the course.
and then i think i'm gunna go to the clevland show in the arvo....so i can give you a ride to that too.......but you gotta find your own way home to the coast...hahahah.....hitching maybe?
