Buggy Brad\'s Mega Manx

Well when I started this project back in 2000 my aim was to build the ultimate Meyers Manx Buggy. Like many buggy owners I had owned a few offroad vehicles and all had had issues in one area or another. I had always loved the Manx so I decided to build a Mega Manx with more power, ground clearance and cool features than any other Manx I had ever seen or owned before. To start out I needed to find an acceptable body. After a few calls I located a nice body sitting just up the road so went and got that. The body was pretty close to perfect so my project was looking good. Once I got it home I started my plan and cut it in half…… yep that’s right I got a perfect Australian Meyers Manx Body and cut it in half……… mad hey ?? Anyway the aim was to widen it by 8” to allow for my running gear …… The body was in good condition with no cut outs or dings... I soon fixed that up though [Edited on 4-5-2004 by Buggy Brad]
