Took my 74 L bug for his first trip out of Gladstone since he has been home. Glad to Rocky and return on Tuesday. Was very impressed did not miss a beat .....even passed a Landcruiser towing a caravan. Only wish I had a fuel guage so I wouldn't be quite so paranoid about the amount of fuel left in the tank. Only 220k round trip but still was concerned on fuel consumption. If I wasn't working on Valla I would be there for sure.
