I only drive my bug about once or twice a week. Last week I was turning into a street and the car behind me overtook me just as I was about to turn right, so I tooted it because it was a close call. Next thing I know they did a u-turn and started chasing me. Anyway eventually I lost them, didn't feel good, I thought they might find my car and smash it up or something.
And today I was turning into the same street and the same thing almost happened again. A car indicated that it was going to pass me just as I was about to turn, but it didn't go because I started turning.
So I figured I better check my indicators were working, even though I checked them about 3 weeks ago. (They werent flashing any faster than usual either)
It took two close calls for me to realise that I had a blown globe. 4 minutes later and I had replaced the globe and all is well.
*Apologies to the car that I tooted at and anyone else who was affected.

I wouldn't feel too bad about it. Even without working indicators, the bloke behind you should have considered the possibility that you might be about to turn and either waited or gone down the inside if possible and he was really in that much of a hurry.

The guy might just have been highly aggressive. I had some bloody red P-plater (I'm a bloody green P-plater) in a semi ricey Commodore try to overtake me while turning into my driveway, and my indicators worked fine. But then I'd been playing with him, driving really slow because he seemed to be in a hell of a hurry on our quiet little street.

pod i`ve got to finish this thing one day

You should ahve seen your blinker indicator flashing faster when you put on the Right habd blinker.... this is a good indicator that you have a blown globe
I read it on FACEBOOK so it must be true

Yes,
as Dave said, the blinker indicator light in the speedo should have been flashing really fast as the load on the blinker unit wasn't correct... this is a safety feature....
