Nope, Honda CR-V!!
No dramas with that... yet. Apparently they are VERY expensive when they finally do break bits..
THE LOWEST WITH THE MOSTEST BLING BLING WINS!!
Yeah just supports my theory that new cars are bad long live the old beasts and i dont know about you but are most new cars getting worse on the eye i mean there mostly bush pigs :puke:puke:puke:puke:puke:puke:puke ps go pink floyd nice pic
The T4 syncro transporters are about $1500 for a rear axle, and if you split a CV boot on the rear then your up for $1500 unless you get creative.......

ooo BenettonVW you should have bought a nissan X-Trail... i have just looked into buying one of this style of car for the wife and it came down to the CR-V and the X-Trail. over all the X-Trail won hands down so i bought one... fingers crossed so far so good :thumb
steff........................
Owned a CR-V for a while, a solid vehicle but Vanilla. No real performance, no great handling, it did most things for you so all you had to do was to press the go pedal and steer.
I would seriously avoid getting a 4wd type vehicle for any round town use, a waste of fuel, space and extra wear and tear on transmissions, diffs, tyres. The dubious extra safety aspect of all wheel drive doesn't really hold sway when they front end bites and the back end slides, sending the car into a potential 360 situation. The only advantage on ownign one was the lack of fear when driving over pot holed roads.
yeah in general anything japanese puts more than a hole in your pocket, as for european too, but yeah these modern 4wd's/AWD's dont have a great life expectancy if you use them off the beaten track often enough, things just break and leak, its ridiculous......for instance i've seen a fair few tributes come in with the abs not working as when they've taken it 4wd ing the rear suspension has been at full droop at some point, and the abs wire isnt long enough to accomodate this scenario so it just snaps.... i mean what the f#ck!!?? its a bloody 4wd!!? eerrr!!! anyway, just ramblin on........

You guys think that other brands are expensive. Volkswagen also know how to charge ......
$300 for 1 spotlight for my new beetle. I broke the original, (how I don't know, probably got hit by a rock). That almost sent me into a coma !
once did a mercedes one for $1500, hahaha, what a joke!!!

Well, I supppose if you could afford one of them, then you can afford to pay all that money for a light. If that was me I would have left it broken
oh well. that just confirms that in the unlikley event i will ever be able to afford a new car, i'll never be able to keep it on the road/tracks
and hows this!!! on some merc's (or is it ALL? i can remember...) you cant purchase door skins, basically the panel on the outside of the door. so if you damage one bad enough that it cant be repaired then you have to buy an entire door, like $800 and higher!!!

IMO and FWIW, I think all baby 4wds are dangerous and should be banned. They are fatal in incidents where a standard sedan would just cause injuries, and they cause problems everyday by not allowing motorists behind them to see what is happening up ahead. I especially dont like X-Trails cos ever since I got the engine done, they have gone out of their way to try and cut me off, and to box me in. Intentionally.... I encounter one at least once every week.
That said, you all love dubs, so I cant hold anything against you. Just bear in mind, this whole SUV thing is an American trend which has found its way to Australia.... Very sad.... Long live dubs, we all agree on that!!!!😉

My old boss just put an engine bay wiring loom, and emission control gear in his Ferrari 25 THOUSAND Dollars
lets just say that if you own a 4x4 (SUV), you have to take it off road,
If you do not provide proof that it is used for the intended terain that they are designed for then it is taken off of you and you are promtly given a standad station wagon, or suzuki swift if you own one of those tiny pitiful excuses for a 4x4.
