Bertie failed me today......went to start.....push button job, but nothing.......battery good, lights & indicators working but no ignition.......can't find any blown fuses and all the wiring appears to be connected to other things......She is a stubborn 72 semi auto, but I'll not let her win, so please help.......

we had this problem twice on the way to and from valla.
get someone underneath and get them to tap the starter motor gently with a hammer while someone is turning the key.
don't hit the wires, tap the bottom of the starter motor.
some people are like slinky's
they have no useful purpose
but they are fun to watch
when you push them down the stairs
