An elderly UK couple were upstairs getting ready for bed when they had a very unexpected late-night caller.
The car had careered across the garden of a neighbouring home, gone over a small wall, flipped on its side, then clipped a bay window [hopefully they mean a glass window and not a bay window bus], ploughed through a hedge and smashed into their house sideways leaving a car-shaped hole before coming to rest at the bottom of the stairs.
i hope they are insured

there was one like that in qld a few days ago, excpet it landed on the bed, with ppl still in it!!!!!. i think the lady got a broken leg and the guy cuts bruises and burns from the exhaust system?
I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!

A mate of mine came around a corner on his motorbike on Christmas day around 25 years ago, dropped it and slid off the road into the front yard of a house. The following year on Christmas day he did the exact same thing in the same house!! Imagine the house owners, "Not you again.."
