hiya🙂
seeing as how im going to try something different during my holidays this year (no long road trips for me 🙁 ) i was thinking, apart from soaking a very old single port engine in wd-40 and dissecting it to see how its bits all fit together, i would learn how to do some welding and spraying.
cherry has some superficial cancer that needs dealing with, and her paint is thin and tired looking. (my dad has quite handily bought an big air compressor to "paint the roof", i think it would do much better painting my bug!)

so... can anybody offer some nice explanatory texts for me to read, or suggest where i could find some that would do the trick?

any help is much appreciated!

Im doing a car restoration course at TAFE St George. Its a 9week short course where the teachers basically help you fix up rust and panels and stuff like that. They have really good tools, you learn how to fabricate your own panels from sheetmetal, learn how to weld etc.

Its about $200

I'm also doing a one after that on spraypainting, they have quite a few large spraybooths large enough for a whole car. Its also 9 weeks, and you only have to bring your own paint. They just need a few more people to run the course though.

Ph for St George TAFE is 9598 7375
