but its not bad at all this guy in a landcruiser 4wd step[ed on the accelerater when i had the red arrow this i dont understand is that theres no damage that i can see cos the 4wd was so high it missed my bumper and hit my D sign
weird thing is though i see some scratches on my chrome bump stops (u know the ones that hold the towel rails in place)
I showed the guy and he seemed cool and reckons he has a friend that chromes wheels etc now is it cheaper for the bloke to get the stuff rechromed or buy new ones?
I think the guy was lucky i dropped shazza cos if she wasnt dropped she'd have a bumper up her ass
So should i get new ones or the old ones rechromed?
:beer
geeez your lucky mate if they were good parts id get them rechromed cause its hard to get good chrome

That's unlucky Costa, but glad it wasn't too bad. I'd get him to buy so new overriders, then you can get the damaged one's fixed up at your own time and cost [then you'll have some spares for later].
Squiz....
Unlucky and lucky, could have been a lot worse against a 4WD!!
the guy seemed nice dont really want to take advantage of him
should i get new overiders or rechrome the ones i got?
BTW how much are overiders?

this is whats damaged
they are cheap ive seen in the US $10 - how much are they here for good ones?
Unlucky Mate, but fortunate there wasn't more damage,
even if you get new ones you will still have to get them rechromed as the Mexican or Thai chrome is crap and the steel is not as good either. Iwould take him up on his offer and get his mate to chrome them, always handy to meet a good chromer for future work
Keeping it real !
cool ok but one of my over rider has a ding in it (not noticable) already reckon i can bang it out b4 he rechromes it?
Oh no ! Poor Shazza !!!!
I am glad that she is not too badly bruised !!
:cry
Thats what I call luck mate. I was in the forester the other night coming around a two land round-a-bout and when exiting the round-a-bout a nanna in a fully lifted landcruiser decided the outside lane (My lane) was closer to exit into. I drove up onto the kerb and pulled up a few feet from a power pole. I was on the horn all the way and looking between the 5 year old staring at me from her passenger seat and the power pole I was heading towards.
Mate those 4WD drive's are a menace when there is a combination of hats, former volvo drivers, nannas, red necks or provisional dirvers and /or alcohol.
Judge- "I sentence you to three years riding a vespa under 110cc" :cussing
Mate I'd just get them rechromed and when he thinks he's off light hit him up a for a BajaBug in the deal. That way next time it happens (and it will) you can get out and say "She's right mate - adds characher. Thanks for that!":P

bump:bounce
lucky who lowered it? :P
sucks mate, i lost my stereo monday night fu*king b*stards!
Get them re chromed. The metal in the originals is much thicker and like someone else said, you will need to get the new ones re chromed anyway because the chrome they come with is crap.
We are getting some bumpers done now (later models) and they are charging $150-$180 to chrome them depending on how much damage has to be repaired. The over riders (undamaged) are costing $25 each to chrome.
Hope that helps. Yogie

cheers man u saved shazzas life when i looked in the rear view mirror all i could see was a thick metal bull bar
😠
If she wasnt lowered things would have been much worst:cussing
cheers
guys
😎
thats too bad dude, get them to do the straightening of the overrider themselves and to rechrome it for sure, repros arent as good and worth the $10 im sure. while theyre at it see how much to get ur whole bumpers done, might get a good rate. glad everythign else is ok, see, lowering was a good idea...
