A VW jack that fits great in the splitty jack points and lifts it very well.
I picked it up from the swapmeet yesterday for 10 bucks.
....so what was it from originaly??

Bay Kombi I reckon.
I've got a few of 'em.
I think splitties had the older lever type.

not a prob.
I used to lift my '73 camper fully laiden with one no worries.
Just be sure to chock the opposite wheel (of course you do this anyway) cos I've seen them roll off on more than one occasion.

I love it,I guess cause I've only had bugs with hydrolic jack, not original, that this jack is very easy to use but then what isn't on a VW?

73+ beetle I use to have one in my 74 bug and have seen a thew more around in similar models. Can't say I've ever trusted the jack point.

I'm not sure that handle is stock, mine have all had handles shaped similar to a window-winder knob, but bigger, and made of black plastic. It seems silly to put such a long handle on as shown, as it would make packing so much more difficult. Has somebody done a repair job, or did they actually come as shown?
