This morning, the woman behind me decided not to stop. Result is a damaged 1/4 panel and a broken tail light. I didn't even want to get out of the car to inspect the damage, didn't want to see it 🙁. It was the original glass tail light so bugger all chance of finding another one. Also the paint is 2 pack, does anyone know if they can repair/match two pack paint?

I feel your pain.

Here's a number for a guy I used when I fist moved to Victoria. Mobile chip and paint repairs 0417327062.

If the paint isn't metalic the process is so much easier and cheaper.

I hope your little baby is ready for DOV in time, I've been looking foward to seeing it.

Good luck, give her a bath and a polish it might make her feel better.

Thanks guys. Its much more than paint repair. There is a fair bit of panel beating here. Picture is poor quality, I'll post a better one soon

i want a karmann after my t3....love them so much....if that happened to me...i'd be ropable...and the lady behind me would've copped it...i'm sorry but if my car lookd that good...and a glass lense that cannot be replace....very bad...
hope it comes together for u mate. sucks seeing accidents on vw...:cry

Well the good news is I found an orignal Hella light (thanks to Max @ Dandy Volks). Will be taking the car for couple of quotes tomorrow. Will keep you updated

Sounds like you'll get on top of it though....Much panel damage...it didn't ripple into other areas of that one nice piece of metal I hope
