I rear ended a guy on the way to work. My fault. Was watching the tacho cause the engine was playing up at 3000-4000 rpm and he braked for the roadworks. At least my bumper bar worked. Pics to follow...

yeah i was pretty lucky. My front bashplate/bumper hit straight on his towball and bent it up and my bumper back. however the towball went throught the gap in the middle of my bumper and made a nice indentation/hole in my bonnet. and my nosecone is crushed from the bumper moving up and back. But none of my spotties were broken cause of the plastic covers just pushed them back. Dunno how much it will cost me. Hopefully there's not much damage at all to the other guy's car cause that's all i'm worried about. I know I can dig up a replacement kit somewhere if i need it and fix the bumper. Photos tomorrow...

sorry to here it mate. I did a similar thing last year, just picked up somebody and was not concerntrating, into the back of a taxi in the city 🙁
but its a baja!!! just leave the damage and say you did it trying to get up a very large hill and you hit a tree as the front wheels bounced of the ground or something!!

Founding member of the Gold Coast Dub Club Inc. 🙂we'll, the firbreglass damage is all repairable, and i reckon we can straighten, gusset and strengthen the bumper. All i'm worried about is the supposed "panel damage" to his car. I just hope he isn't one of those people that add a little more "damage" to it after the event.
