hey everyone, i went with ryan to small car sunday today, because he has entered his car and there was only ONE vw there a red convertable karman ghia, im entering my beetle next year when its finished but i was so dissapointed, where were all the adelaide dubs 🙁

I Think its because its mostley for Jap crap and imports, you have to have 100 stickers and a $20,000 body kit on your standard engined excel.

it is mainly jap cars but last year there was a beetle or 2. There was a few mini's and 1 or 2 austins today, im sure you could get in with a kombi
maybe next year we can organise for all the vw to go

Hi aaron, that would have been friday night on the scs cruise, pretty crappy cruise lol. Im hoping the bug will really stand out when she is finished im hanging out now for it to be done now.

hey guys, I thought I'd add on, I started my own thread because I didnt know this one was going.
dont think the day is all about stickers and bodykits, I know they are japanese, but there were original restored 1960's cars there, as well as some 1920-ish cars on the SCC club display.
and a kombi is classed as a small car, usually its 4 clyinders and/or hi tech, but a GT40 ford replica, complete with injected V8 still managed to pick up a prize, as well as a dead stock 1982/3 RX-7
