I just read in the Courier Mail that a Kombi was almost cut in half by a motorbike in Caveside, Tasmania.

yeah it was the bike rider (killed instantly)... according to paper bike and rider went through the side of the van and out the other side. The 21 yr old Canadian driver and passenger escaped before van exploded into flames.
Must have been going very fast to do that sort of damage.

Yeah, in the latest radio report, the investigating officer stated that " the motorcycle was probably exceeding the posted speed limit for that road of 100Kph"
Sounds like the poor dude was going about 200K's mebbe.
