my bro went to a shop today to buy me a 128MB memorystick pro for my dig camera. he noticed the 512MB stick was accidentally labelled the same price as the 128!!!
nervously he took it to the counter, they scanned it and it came up the cheap price he had hoped for. he then haggled it down another $10 with cash!
so now i got like a tonne of photos i can take at shows from now on, no more vga quality and praying i have enough room for all the cars. 2005 is going to be a great year...

true story/urban myth... either way, its kinda cool.
a guy went into a harvey norman store to get some RAM for his computer.
he asked the salesperson for 256Mb of SDRAM, and the salesperson got the trainee to ring up the sale for him.
now the trainee had no fking idea about computers and took the entire box of ram (50 sticks) and rung up the box as a sale, instead of a single stick. this was back in the day when 256mb would set you back $200.
the buyer cautiously walked out of the store, to his car, a very happy man 😀

this made alot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
man I have a 256mb card in my camera and my wife had a dance concert a few weeks back. It's the first time I have ever filled all up and I had to really try. I had the camera set on 3megapixels and I got 288pics including a video clip.
512mb is going to be absolutely nuts! I hope you got a couple of sets of batteries. 😉
