Restored Splitty prices

oldskool · 2005-01-14T04:09:41+00:00

I watch a few different classic car markets, and have noticed that people selling restored splits seem to want extraordinary money for their cars when selling... If you rebuild-restore an old Porsche, you do it knowing you will lose between 50-70% on the sale..... It seems this isnt the case with Splits..?.. Are they really selling for 30K+....?.... Or are they just advertised at that price? And please dont anyone with a restored Split for sale get offended or upset, I am aware of the commitment required... Just promoting discussion and learning a little bit more.....
