Advice Pls - My Bug Has A Drinking Problem....

Hey all,

Quick question - I'll post this in Tech Advice too, but here we go.

On a recent move, we bundled heaps of last minute crap into the cars. I found out last night that someone in the family put a bottle of 'Lambrusco' under the bonnet of the beetle...and of course, somewhere along the line the bottle opened and the entire contents washed through all the contents of the front of the bug.

What I am concerned in, is where could it have seeped? Is there anything under there that I should now be looking at removing, cleaning, etc? EG, around the petrol tank? Steering stuff in the cavity? Electrical all seems to be OK, car is driving the same...but any long term effects?

does it smell? i would think to give all the surfaces a once over with some mildly soapy water as its going to be very sticky in there, and ants will be a problem. ants in the car is not good.

kinda reminds me of when i was getting takeout thai and 2 green curries decided to open themselves on my passengers side floor

in the beginning, the universe was created.
this made alot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
