I tried to strengthen the bottom door hinge on the drivers side.. Unfortunately there is a bit of rust and stress fractures around the hinge (door side). Also rust in the bottom channel where the seal sits.. I'm afraid I'm going to lose too much time trying to get them right (passenger side is worse) so it looks like I have to get some new doors..

Where do I go?.. What should I pay?

This is turning into a mini nightmare.. Still sitting in the backyard and at least a month of spare time work before I get it roadworthy.. Also found rust debris looking in thru the front vent into the heater channels..

I got two sitting under the house that you can have, but I don't know that they are any better than what you've got.
Anything else you need for a 67??
Well my friends are gone & my hair is grey, I ache in the places where I used to play.

if it is a 6V 67 car then the doors are different to 68 mod doors. they have different latches, different handles and different sized windows etc.

So i take it that you don't want my doors then. Checked em out today, They are okay. Not perfect but okay. They are the later 12 volt style doors with the release mechanism on this inside grip of the handle. Not like the earlier push button style or earlier pull handle style

No.. sorry.. Just needed time to think before replying.. My doors are the push/pull handle type (push to lock..pull to release)

You know.. I'm starting to think that I'm just not refitting them right.. The door would probably pass blue slip but I can't seem to get it to fit back nicely.. Now it shouldn't be too hard (3 screws top and bottom) but it's thrown me.. Maybe the plate I have fitted to the bottom of the door (where door meets pillar) hasn't enough clearance.. I'll need to play some more dammit
