help just pllud the fan housing off a motor & it is missing the cooling flap assembly & fittings I have the RH flap & cross bar but need the LH flap that goes over oil cooler, link pin & whtever fixes it to the housing, anybody in Sydney who can help?

Try places that fix air-cooled vws. They usually also wreck vehicles for parts.
Do you have all the other parts such as the thermostat, pulley, cable, etc?
yep will madly try a few places, the thermostat bits are not urgent, it is just that I have the fan casing sort of off! to replace rear engine mounts
