Yes it is Ingrid...it did hit the top end last week but we have finished with it now so they can have it.My uncle was caught up in it last night and said it was small in size but quiet powerful. Good luck with it!!!!:o

Cheers....will let all know what eventuates....shame I don't have a built in garage for the car, just the open understorey of our elevated house....and no where else really to take it. Is a worry, but family and friends are a little more important should Ingrid get here.

I just spoke to my uncle. My cousin's place had a tree through the roof, and every other building is detroyed on Crocker Island. He parked his car and boat under the stilts of the school principals house, only for the car and boat to survive, but the house lost its roof.

He and is partner work on an Aboriginal school on Crocker. Apparently they are going to be flown off the island so that repairs can be made to the school and then for it to be re-opened.

He was saying the the winds were vicious....coming from one direction, then dead calm as the eye passed over, then coming from the other direction the end of it came.
