was reading the what to look for in the ghia post and saw the comment on the layered sections and rust. I was wondering where the hot spots are in the bus. I recently did full resto on my 70 bay(previously soulsurfer), no doubt those where a big surprise. there apears to be a section behind the front seats that makes a corner with the floor and the side sliding door, also the lower half of the nose, and the upper back corners inside near the rear hatch door hinges, also upper corners of front windows, and that bloody nightmare section bottom sill front window and dash...are there any others? I guess you could count the bottom panels that run under the steps in front doors, and that connection behind the front wheel wells that connect
These are great things to know, as when i found them we decided to keep a few hole drilled that could be filled with a rubber stopper and removed to spray antirust tx from time to time, accept for the ones that you cant get to once you put your headliner back in. sorry i am babbling, it was a long day at work!!
i hink you got pretty much everything. the sills already have those holes that ou want to drill in, they can be seen inside the front wheel-well. rear guards are also double-skinned, but never seen that cause any major problems rust-wise

good to know i am unlikely to have any major surprises now
by the sounds if it you have had every nasty surprise you can get. corners just below windscreen also rot, horrible area to repair because so many curves.
