Spybot and Ad-aware,
but ask Andrew, he'd be the guru for this sort of thing.

(apologies to all other minor dieties of computer stuff..... he's the only one of us I know who works in this field of black magic)

Spybot (seek and destroy) and Ad-aware? to me yes, but I am a wee bit of a technological gumpty. I rely on my brother for real tech advice, but these are two that he uses. Zac's don't sound bad either.

Just remember free ware, you get what you pay for!
They work and are good... in fact some are better than just good when they are put ou there by good people.
But a lot of free ware has up graded versions you can pay for to gain access to better options etc.

zac_smits, your method isnt working mate.

Spybot and Ad-aware are what I use, no problems.

I will use them until I see a better product.

Cheers

If you only want to get rid of cookies then AdAware would be my choice. It's designed to go after cookies and things like that where SpyBot is a more all encompassing spyware tool (and I'm not sure it even goes after cookies).

Your browser will most likely have it's own method for viewing and deleting cookies also. This would require you to know which cookies you want deleted, but it should be reasonably easy to tell from the site name which ones are holding useful data (like your login for the forum) and which are advertisment trackers.
