this is a picture of my 1974 beetle which i got late January this year and runs and drives like a dream. I prefer driving her to my mum's magna. The only thing i would prefer is if she was blue and not red. But i love my car all the same. I wouldn't trade her or sell her for anything. My car is currently at a smash repair place being fixed after a minor accident. I can't wait to have my car back.

You sure that's a 74? The 74 has large tail lights, vents in the engine lid and those vent things behind the rear side windows I think. At least mine and a couple of others from that general era do.

Nice looking car though. I like the colour too. Shame about the accident. What was the damage?

yeah andrew is right it should have the big tail lights and everything else he described unless its a 1500 or 1300. not bagging it out as it looks like a straight and sturdy little thing. im glad you love it

it is a 1500 bug, not sure on damage but it is being fixed and i can't wait to get her back. i would rather drive my bug any day then a modern car.
