Hi I'm trying to find a first car, and I've set my eyes on an not too old Convertable Beetle. Any colour is fine. Comment if you can help me. It would be awsome if it was in south east QLD. Like Brisbane or something.

ok - we talking original cabrio ($$$$) or we talking chop top?????

I will be presumptious(sp?) and assume we are talking chop top??

Get one that is
currently registered
has MINIMAL rust
has had body work done over mech work

The chop tops can look good when done but they are a "modified vahicle" They have crap security (hood held on with press studs) and are prone to rust.

That said you can pick up some real bargains

There was a beautiful torquoise one for sale a while back

I will do a search and see if i can find the link
