Does v-force do kits?
It just kind of surprises me, coz it's not like people haven't been racing or hotting beetles up. There must be someone with a decent kit.
yeah I agree, a kit would be nice, but my 'list' above is the 'kit' you need, really. I did set-up myself with my brother. I am currentky revising my car; I have removed the 'bent' upper arms I had in the front and am about to raise the rear of my car... I took the bent arms out as I had TOO much wheel 'lean' (camber) for comfy street use with eccentrics, bent arms and caster specs I had.. teh result was the car would turn-in nice, and then actually bite TOO hard at the front! So what I am doing is actually adding understeer... I am raising the rear to allow a slightly better ride on the rough roads around my place. I will play with that combo for a while - I have a feeling the bent arms might end up being put back in...
😉
I guess V-Force or Vintage Vee Dubs Supplies should be able to help with advice and some components. Don't laugh at the Cofap shocks, either, they are cheap and work well on the street (gas ones). There is another thread on here dicsussing wheel alignment specs etc
