Just on my way back to the studio I witnessed a hilarious V8 Holden ute stunt.
Light drizzle had just begun to fall, so the road was slippery - a perfect calling card for the would-be racers who couldn't steer a billy cart. This yobbo in a red V8 Holden ute at the lights decided to plant the foot. Away he went, wheels spinning, then car sliding, hang on skiding, wait for it, now fish tailing, then snap, over the plant medium strip, through two large wooden posts, missed two cars coming the other way, across two lanes and slam into the gutter, change of underwear for the driver.
What an idiot. It's one thing to own a V8, it's another to actually be able to drive one. Meanwhile, I stayed at the lights, waiting for the show to finish, and then casually sauntered past. I'm sure he'll tell the guys at work he did something heroic to avoid a pedestrian or small rodent, and had to go bush to save a life.
They're still being born.

I agree
it's people like him that also push insurance premiums up for everyone.
If you inform the police maybe he won't be able to claim to his insurance company that he swerved to miss somebody/thing, so they won't pay up and he won't be able to get himself another car that is far too powerfull for the idiot to handle - maybe saving some inocent peoples lives in the process.

Silliest thing I saw once was a few months ago. I was driving the cab down Pennant Hills Rd at Thornleigh. I was in the outside lane in a queue of traffic which drove off, and next to me was this guy in an early V8 Commodore. Obviously the rumble from my standard exhaust egged him on, so he pulled in behind me and commenced to accelerate, decelerate, accelerate hard up behind me. When we were at the next traffic lights I heard this revving as saw a cloud of tyre smoke behind me as he spun the wheels and accelerated hard behind me again. The funny part was watching his face as the cop behind him who he hadn't seen turned on the lights and siren. F#ck I laughed.....
yes they are out there i almost go a benz the other day coming home from work in the rain. the idiot didnt stop at the stop sign but rolled straight throughin front of me and i locked the bug up and slid around him barely missing the medium strip and him. i had to stop 10m down the road to get my hands to stop shaking

don't it make you worry when blokes do that? their car not powerful enough to do that stuff in the dry, they not good enough to control it in the dry, so they go out in the wet when it arguably more dangerous. then they think they're hero's when they crank more than a couple of degrees of angle.

just seen the most rediculous thing, ricer boy from a middle eastern country come flying up the road locks the brakes up to slide into his driveway mounts the island close by and now has a slightly bent Honda and all the while his mother is video taping it for relatives back home,I dont know where they think they live now but its just lucky there was no kids close by ,as it could have rolled and killed someone,again:cussing:

I really cant talk as i am always trying weird and wonderful things when it rains....... However, its usually somewhere were there is no other traffic and its usual at night on a road where no one will be harmed. Last time i tried to thow a quick u turn out the front of my work showing off infront of a few work mates my little beetle then continued to do a full 360spin.... needless to say i drove off in the wrong direction, pretending to them that it was intended....... by hell, they seem to be a handfull in the wet when u wanna get the weight of the motor behind em. then again, maybe its just me thinking i can drive when i cant......... :thumb

I totally agree. I am a very confident driver, but I often feel anxious when driving my cabrio in traffic, there are some REAL stupid drivers where I live !

Like the guy in a comode today following so close behined the trani van I thought he was coming in the back doors while I was doing 50km on the home stretch where plod usually sets up a speed gun. Comode driver couldnt wait to get 300 m down the road to turn left so he plants it to over take. Problem is I'm following a granny in a Camry (but he couldnt see that cause he was up my ass) and the car comming in the opposite direction has to pull over to the kerb to avoid a head on! Mean whille DH turns left (where I do also). Now I dont usuually do this but I follow this guy the 500 mtrs where he parks and I get out and suggested he slow down a bit (actually I said a bit more than that, I was pretty pissed as kids etc cross that road all the time) Dont know if it did any good, luck he was just a young (sorry dont want to offend any one here) DH in a hurry to get to his girl friends place and not 6 ft hells angle!
🙁 a few years ago i was towing my horses to a show and this dickhead kept playin cow in and out of traffic in front of me,well not far up the road this super prick must of stopped, and was back on the road again but this time he was behind me, one lane road and the idot over took me but car coming the other way ,he pushed me off the road to get it to my lane,and then the wanker slams on the brakes,<,must of scared himself > he slowed down real quick,,,the problem was you cant stop a car with 2 horses on it that fast and not have them panic,,i had no where to go so straight up his arse i went.....everyone on the road stopped to help...one of the ropes broke that was tieing up one horse he reared up in the float and and snapped his head in the roof of the float and he was dead,,, this horse was 26yrs old i had him since he was 2yrs old, got heaps of help to get other horse out of float as the one dead was lucky the center bar in the float took his weight so i got the other horse out of the float,,the funny thing was i was an emotonal female that had just lost her horse of 24yrs went up to this tosser and gave him a smack in the mouth, and you know what he tried to have me charged for assult when the cops arrived, he got charged with dangerous driving and that was it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,if i had a baseball bat in the car i would of use it on him, today i cant tow a horse float any more and gave my other horse to my sister,,,,,if i ever see this guy on the road again he will be my speed bump,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,colleen
